BACKGROUND AND EARLY YEARS:

Meet Rodge, the Beirut-born Lebanese Brazilian music producer, DJ, artist, and businessman with over 3 decades of experience in the music industry. Rodge’s passion for music was evident from a young age, and he has since gone on to become one of the most sought-after

DJs in the Middle East, with a career that rivals the likes of Marshmallow, Kygo, and David Guetta.

Rodge graduated from USJ in Beirut in Business Computer and launched his own radio station, Mix FM, in the late 90s, which has been the number one station in the country ever since. Rodge won all 5 DJ competitions that took place in Lebanon in the 90s.

His success in the Middle East has become legendary, and he has performed to tens of thousands in major concerts in the MENA region with some of the biggest names in music, including Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, Jennifer Lopez, Martin Garrix, Sia, Sean Paul,

Shakira, Chris Brown, The Chainsmokers, Enrique Iglesias, Jason Derulo, David Guetta, Kygo, Bryan Adams, The Scorpions, Sting, Amr Diab, Mohamed Ramadan, Nancy Ajram, and many others all around the world.

DISCOGRAPHY:

Rodge has transformed four iconic tracks with a fresh Afro-House twist. His covers of “American Pie”, “The Boxer”, “Ahwak”, and “Nassam” showcase his ability to blend Afro rhythms with timeless melodies, creating a unique and vibrant sound that resonates with both modern and classic music lovers.

Rodge, produced and collaborated with Amine Babylone on the single “Ya Dunia”. This pop track blends infectious melodies with heartfelt lyrics, showcasing Rodge’s polished production and Amine Babylone’s captivating vocal delivery.

Rodge showcased his versatility and talent by releasing three distinct tracks. ‘1001 Nights’ echoes the mystical allure of Arabian tales, while ‘Thank You for the Music’ is an approved cover of the iconic ABBA song, bearing testament to his excellence as it garnered the nod from ABBA’s management team. Complementing this duo is ‘On the Radio’, an electrifying collaboration featuring Amanda Wilson, highlighting Rodge’s continual evolution in the music scene.

Rodge’s music catalog includes a lot of number one hits, including the 2020 “Elle S’appelle Beyrouth” song, which was announced as the #1 song in 2020, a duet with Cheb Khaled, Beirut, Say a little Prayer, Helween, and so many more. He is the most in-demand DJ/Producer in the Middle East, releasing official remixes of some of the biggest Arabic hits of recent years.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

At the “BIAF 2024” festival, Rodge was honored for his extraordinary contributions to Lebanese art, culture, and creativity. His efforts in revitalizing the Lebanese entertainment scene and promoting Lebanese culture globally, especially during challenging times, were recognized among other distinguished achievers.

At the prestigious MEMA 2023 (Middle East Music Awards), Rodge’s unparalleled talents shone once again as he clinched the title for ‘Best DJ in the Middle East’. This accolade, presented in Egypt, underscores Rodge’s indomitable influence in the region, echoing his unmatched ability to captivate audiences with his musical prowess.

Rodge has been honored with an ‘Award of Appreciation’ from theLebanon’s Ministry of Tourism.
This esteemed accolade recognizes his exceptional musical creativity, global success, and undeniable influence on the tourism sector.

Rodge has received numerous accolades for his work, including the recognition award for an outstanding DJ/Producer at the Murex D’or International 2022 held in Dubai and being awarded “Best DJ and Club Promoter” by the Syndicate of Clubs and Restaurants of Lebanon. He was also given the title of “Ambassador of Culture and Music to the Youth” by the students of Lebanon.

Rodge is the leading DJ on Anghami with around 23 million plays and 500,000 followers. He has over 900,000 followers on Instagram and continues to top the charts on Soundcloud, Spotify, and Podomatic with weekly uploaded sets “The Weekend Power Mix” holding the number one spot for music in the Middle East.

He also started his online app, Rodge 24/7, with two channels playing his music 24 hours a day, Rodge Classics and Rodge in the Mixx!

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:

Rodge has also been heavily involved in supporting NGOs locally and globally, committing to several foundations, being a continuously active member, spokesman, and ambassador for organizations such as Brave Heart, SOS, CCCL (Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon),

Bassma, Tamanna Wishes, Focus, Kunhadi, Animals Lebanon, and many more. He does over 20 dates a year to generate money for NGOs and offers some of his big concerts to their benefit exclusively.
